The Setting: Cambridge and Prague – from 1968 to 1990

The Story:  With its amazing soundtrack, which includes music by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones, this epic play spans two countries, three generations and 22 turbulent years. Set simultaneously in Cambridge and Prague, the play follows the lives of a Czech writer and his Cambridge professor who is a member of the communist party. Theatre, English and Social Studies classrooms will be enriched by this fascinating and important play.
