Suggested Areas of Study and Discussion: Shakespeare, English Literature, Verse Drama, Elizabethan England, Theatre

The Story: Treat your students to this delightful and romantic romp through the forest with Titania, Oberon, Puck, the young lovers, and those crazy townspeople who are rehearsing a play. In this inventive version of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy, nine actors play all the roles, transforming from lovers to fairies to mechanicals. Our student audiences in 2006 and 2008 were delighted with this passionate, youthful, and accessible rendition of Shakespeare’s classic.
