Agnes of God
By John Pielmeier
Directed by Mary M. Finnerty October 19 - November 11, 2007
Three women, all in need of a miracle, are drawn together by the death of an infant in a convent. When Dr. Martha Livingstone, a disillusioned ex-Catholic psychiatrist assigned to evaluate the baby's mother, meets the young Sister Agnes she is deeply moved by her gentleness and spiritual purity. Determined to circumvent the over-protective Mother Superior, Dr. Livingstone struggles to unearth the truth about the conception, birth and death of Agnes' child. As events unfold in this gripping tale, Dr. Livingstone and the Mother Superior fight desperately to save Agnes and find the miracle each of them needs. Agnes of God reunites director Mary Finnerty and actors Linda Kelsey and Colleen Hennen, the team responsible for last year's hit show The O'Conner Girls.
