Can love overcome hate? This haunting story begins in a church on the eve of the Millennium. Two young teenagers, one a local Ugandan girl, the other the daughter of white missionaries, hold a secret wedding ceremony. Then their world is tipped upside down and ripped apart. Our patrons who saw the world premiere found this play to be an extraordinary experience that doesn’t tell you what to think, but opens your mind to the human capacity for hatred, forgiveness, love and faith–and perhaps, hope. Audience Advisory: This play contains gunshots, strong language and adult content.
