At Park Square Theatre, we are committed to making live theatre more accessible to everyone in our community. Whether you're a longtime supporter, a first-time guest, or attending with a group, we offer a range of pricing options to help make theatregoing affordable and welcoming for all.


  • All tickets to preview performances are just $25*, regardless of where you sit. These early performances take place before opening night and are open to all patrons. No promo code needed - just select your seats and enjoy the savings. *Preview pricing may vary depending on the production - musicals and larger-scale Mainstage productions may be priced higher.

  • Affordable theatre, no questions asked.

    A limited number of $15 Access Tickets are available for every performance this season. These are offered to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis: no application, income verification, or documentation required. If available, select the pink colored seats on the seat map - affiliated with the $15 price point! *Not valid for Live @ The Square & price may fluctuate based on size and scope of a show, i.e, musicals, etc.)

  • Special discounted pricing is available for seniors and students at every production. These tickets are available for most performances and can be selected during the online checkout process or requested by calling the box office.

    Please note:

    • Discount amounts vary depending on the production.

    • Musicals and larger-scale Mainstage productions may be priced higher than plays.

    • Live @ the Square events, featuring concerts and special performances, are typically lower-priced.

    • Availability may be limited for high-demand performances.

    We recommend purchasing early to take advantage of these offers.

  • Planning a theatre outing with friends, colleagues, or classmates?

    Groups of 10 or more receive 20% off their total ticket order.

  • Members of Actors' Equity receive 20% off tickets with proof of union membership.

    These tickets must be purchased in person at the box office, starting one hour before each performance.

  • Volunteer as an usher and enjoy the show at no cost while helping us create a welcoming and smooth experience for our patrons.

    What does ushering involve?

    • Wear all-black attire

    • Arrive 1 hour before showtime for a short 10-minute orientation

    • Help scan tickets, hand out programs, and guide patrons to their seats

Ticket Policies

As a nonprofit arts organization, Park Square Theatre relies on a combination of ticket sales and philanthropic support to sustain our productions and programming. In order to help cover essential operational costs, each ticket purchase includes the following standard fees: $1.50 Ticket Processing Fee*, a $1.50 Credit Card Fee*, and a $2.00 Facility Fee*. The Facility Fee directly supports the costs of renting and maintaining our venue in Downtown Saint Paul.

In compliance with Minnesota’s ticket pricing transparency legislation and the Fans First Act, all posted ticket prices include applicable fees upfront, so patrons know the total cost before checkout.

All Sales Are Final

  • All tickets are delivered electronically to the email address provided during purchase. Tickets may be printed at home or shown on a mobile device upon arrival. If you need assistance retrieving your tickets, please contact the Box Office for support.

  • To ensure a distraction-free experience for artists and audiences, latecomers may not be admitted immediately. Patrons arriving after the start of the performance may be asked to wait in the lobby until a suitable break. Alternate seating may be assigned at the discretion of the House Manager and access to original seats may be delayed until intermission.

  • Performances generally proceed as scheduled regardless of weather conditions. If you are unable to attend due to severe weather, you may request to exchange for another performance of the same production (pending availability). Standard exchange fees apply. Refunds will not be issued due to weather-related absences.

  • If a performance is canceled for any reason, the ticket holder can exchange for another performance of equal value (subject to availability) within the season, convert their ticket purchase into a donation, or request a refund for the price of their ticket. All ticket exchanges, donations, and refunds must be requested by the deadline stipulated in the cancellation notice (2-3 weeks from the original performance date). Any remaining tickets after the deadline will be converted into a donation.

  • No refunds will be issued for tickets or ticket exchanges.

  • Requests for ticket exchanges must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled performance time. Exchange fees may apply. If you missed your performance, we will honor your unused tickets for any show in the current season (Upgrade fee may apply). Ticket credits that are not used by the closing performance of the current season will expire and be considered a donation to the theater.

  • Park Square Theatre strives to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all. Firearms, outside food, laser pointers, and audio or video recording devices are not permitted inside the venue. Video or audio recording or photos of performances or the scenery is strictly prohibited. Disruptive patrons may be asked to leave without refund.

  • By entering Park Square Theatre, you grant permission to be photographed or recorded for promotional or archival purposes.
